item sent media mail post office keeping
okay I bought some soap, seller sent media mail, I paid for 1st class. The post office inspected it and forwarded the package to St. Louis branch to be investigated. I am out the soap and my money. The package does not have confirmation on it. So now what do I do. Post Office told me to tell the seller that I can not receive the package.|||"okay I bought some soap, seller sent media mail, I paid for 1st class. The post office inspected it and forwarded the package to St. Louis branch to be investigated. I am out the soap and my money. The package does not have confirmation on it. So now what do I do. Post Office told me to tell the seller that I can not receive the package." Seller owes you a full refund now (item price and the S&H paid) . If the seller balks, then just file the INR (Item Not Received) with either Ebay OR Paypal. You paid 1st class for S&H. Seller sent Media Mail (soap does not qualify) so this is the seller's problem with the post office and you/Ebay or Paypal for a full refund. The USPS is cracking down on sellers like this and the Buyer should never be out the product or money. Seller needs to either reship (No additional payment due from you) (correct way 1st class) OR refund in full. Get your refund now. If seller refuses then just file the INR . Email or call your seller and request a refund. To get seller's contact info (phone#) Link|||You have a filing deadline with Ebay and or Paypal of 45 days from the date of payment to get your refund. A good seller in this case would just refund or reship the item. If they do not refund or reship immedialey , just file with Either Ebay OR Paypal (not both) Ebay's Buyer Protection process Link * Note seller must prove delivery (NOT just that they shipped) to the buyer or Ebay / Payal will refund buyer. In this case, seller can not prove delivery. because the PO is holding the package for inappropriate actions on the seller's part in the manner they chose to ship.|||In sum, it's an easy win, not because of the improper mail class but no confirmation! Hopefully the seller learns a hard lesson, by prison time. (Or a warning letter from the PO. )~James~|||Personally, I'd ask the seller for an immediate full refund. If I didn't get it, I'd file a NPS. Look for your soap from another seller.|||Well I followed everyones advice and the seller refunded the money in full back to stating she didnt understand why it was fraud. I tried to explain. Thanks so much for your help. Danette||||||Wow a quick and speedy refund. She will understand when she hears from the PO dvgvintage|||What a numpty seller ! Why would anybody think they could get away with it ?||||||
